And I, because
of their actions and their imaginations, am about to come and gather
all nations and tongues, and they will come and see my glory.

Celebrate
with us at the Indiana State Fairgrounds 4PM June 4th
Welcome
from this years IGDOP Coordinator, Rev. Thomas C. Walker.
What a pleasure it is to be celebrating here in Indianapolis this year.
As many of you know last year I was assisting the national movement GDOPUSA
in promoting America's first year of participation in this global event. I
was on the road encouraging folks like you by helping them plan for their
events no matter the size or location. Explaining to those I met the
importance to having two or more gathered for prayer on this
occasion. Some cities where highly organized and heavily attended
events like those in Texas, Georgia and clustered together regionally as in
California. Others were like those in the small rural towns of Indiana and
in Washington, North of Seattle which is where I found myself still on the
road far from home helping others prepare on the GDOP 2005.
I didn't arrive back home until the very early hours of the Tuesday of
that week but it was as though I had been here all along. You see I had a
hand in planning the event that took place here in Indianapolis and I knew
how it would unfold in my minds eye. What I had walked in to on Tuesday was
really faze three of our plan, the 90 days of blessing that followed. There
was so much to this faze that frankly was not welled planed and what it
resembled was simple random acts of kindness all over the city.
Even I was not immune to folks wanting to help me. I had been traveling
extensively and was out of funding very early in this pursuit but pressed on
for many weeks. What savings we had was spent in this endeavor of
encouraging our country to participate in this global event. Myself and
those that I had left behind in this pursuit, my wife and our three young
daughters, were in a real financial pinch if nothing was done. Something was
done as several acts of kindness got us through what we account as the very
best of times.
Blessings to all and to
a successful 2006 Indianapolis GDOP
in Christ Jesus
our Lord,
Rev. Thomas C. Walker
