In this section, we go once again to the written “Prayer For the World”, but this time we focus on our own community. Each of the seven sections of this powerful prayer have a main theme around which our prayers will cluster.

Seven Sections of Prayer– led by pastors- Local Community Emphasis

(10-15 minutes each)

• Section One: Glorifying the Name of God/submitting to His authority and sovereignty – pastor- non-denominational
• Section  Two: Celebrating God’s love expressed through the gift of Jesus – pastor, United Methodist
• Section Three: May the Kingdom of Christ rule in our valley – pastor, United Methodist
• Section Four: Repenting for our sin – pastor, Southern Baptist
• Section Five: Asking for the empowerment of the Holy Spirit- pastor, non-denominational
